DHAI

Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi

One of the major planned housing schemes in the Islamabad-Rawalpindi twin cities. BuildOn builds in Phase 2 and Phase 5.

What DHAI is

The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi (DHAI), often called DHA Islamabad or DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi, develops gated residential phases for military and civilian families. It sits in the twin cities, straddling the Islamabad and Rawalpindi side of the metropolitan area.

Phases are laid out with sectors, parks and commercial belts. Transfers and membership rules are handled through DHAI, not through CDA.

Where the phases sit

  • Phase 2 - between Potohar Avenue / GT Road and the Islamabad Expressway, near the Kahuta Triangle. BuildOn's Sector B upcoming plot and sold E and J model homes are here.
  • Phase 5 - on the Islamabad Expressway, opposite Phase 2. BuildOn's 10 Marla house in Sector F is here and available for sale.
  • Other phases continue along the same corridor. Ask us if you want options outside Phase 2 and 5.

Who buys here

Local families in the twin cities, people relocating from other Pakistani cities, and overseas Pakistanis who want a finished or plot-based home with DHAI paperwork.

Sale and purchase, in plain terms

  1. Confirm the plot or house

Sector, size, and whether it is open for transfer.

  2. Membership and clearances

Buyers usually need DHAI membership and an NOC-style clearance before transfer. We share the current checklist for your deal. We do not invent form numbers on this site.

  3. Transfer at DHAI

Transfer is processed through DHAI offices. You can attend in person or use a power of attorney if you live abroad.

  4. Pay the company

BuildOn only takes payment into the company bank account, with a receipt every time.

Always check the latest rules on dhai-r.com.pk or ask us for the pack before you pay.
